CD Rom

In July 2001 the MS Society was pleased to launch a new resource for people who have been newly diagnosed with MS. The Newly Diagnosed Information CD contains multimedia information on all aspects of living with MS including:

  • Diagnosis and dealing with diagnosis.
  • Support available from your local MS Society.
  • Information types of MS, treatment for MS and statistics on the number of people of living with MS in Australia and around the world.
  • Information on living with MS, including working, children and families, relationships and healthy living.

The CD includes video-clips of interviews with people with MS, an interview with a noted neurologist, videos on MS and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and much more. We make the CD available to all people who have been newly diagnosed. If you would like to order a copy of the CD or to find out more about it, please contact your local Multiple Sclerosis Australia.

The National MS Society site for the United States has an excellent compendium of information on topics relating to MS.
