The MUC MS Dinner

UPDATE: Due to short notice and the busy schedule of our guests, the MUC MS Dinner has been postponed until early 2009. We thank everyone for their indication of interest and support, and will contact you in the New Year with a new date after considering venue availability and the schedule of the Minister for Mines and Energy.

Queensland is leading the field with many of its research projects into multiple sclerosis, and the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Queensland is encouraging senior executives within the mining and resource sector to ‘Muck in’ and support the search for a cure for MS.

Professor Alan Mackay-Sim, the 2003 Queenslander of the Year and the Director for the National Centre for Adult Stem Cell Research, Griffith University, is providing a keynote talk on the current developments in adult stem cell research, and its application for multiple sclerosis research.

Our special guest will be Hon Geoff Wilson, MP, the Minister for Mines and Energy.

WHEN: POSTPONED UNTIL 2009

WHERE: The Speaker's Dining Room, Parliament House

The dinner is being hosted by Jonathan Loraine, CEO of Core Resources, and board member of the MS Society of Queensland.
